Boxing Accessories
Boxing accessories are the small things that decide whether a session goes well: the hand wraps that save your knuckles, the gum shield that saves your teeth, the skipping rope that gets you warm and the deodoriser that keeps your gloves out of the bin. Boxfit UK carries more than 250 of them, from Adidas, Opro, SafeJawz, Rival, Cleto Reyes, Empire and Knuckle Sandwich alongside our own Boxfit branded range, so whatever you forgot is here.
Boxing accessories every boxer needs
Hand wraps and tape. Wraps go on before every session, no exceptions. We stock cotton and elasticated boxing hand wraps in 2.5m, 3m and 4.5m lengths from Adidas, Sting and Rival, including ABA approved wraps for amateur competition and quick wraps such as the Fortress T1 Fastwraps for people who hate wrapping. Boxing hand tape and zinc oxide tape cover the taping job before a bout. Gum shields. Opro and SafeJawz self-fit and boil-and-bite boxing gum shields suit everyone from beginner to national champion, with junior sizes, brace-friendly designs and cases to keep them hygienic. Skipping ropes. Speed ropes, plastic and leather ropes and weighted ropes from Boxfit, FLY and Rival are in boxing skipping ropes; three rounds of skipping is still the best warm-up in the sport.
Kit care and small essentials
Gloves and boots that are dried and deodorised after every session last far longer and smell a great deal better. Glove and boot deodorisers such as the Meister set are cheap insurance on leather gloves that cost ten times as much. Lace converters like the Phenom EzyLace turn lace-up gloves into something you can put on alone, which makes lace-up sparring and contest gloves practical for solo bag sessions. Empire gym tape at 2.5cm wide is the roll every coach keeps in the corner bag.
Trophies, medals and club essentials
Boxfit supplies boxing trophies and medals for club shows, championships and participation awards, and we can engrave them; call 01708 320320 with the wording and quantities. Clubs also buy wraps by the box, gum shields by the tray and ropes by the class from this section, and our own Boxfit branded accessories are priced with a squad order in mind. Kitting out a new club? Tell us the numbers and we will put a list together.

Frequently asked questions
Which hand wrap length is right for me?
Adults with average hands are best with 4.5m wraps, which give enough length for full knuckle and wrist coverage. Smaller hands and juniors suit 2.5m or 3m. Elasticated wraps are easier to get tight; cotton wraps are cooler and last longer. Amateur competition requires approved wraps, so check before a bout.
What accessories do I need to start boxing?
Hand wraps and a gum shield are the two you cannot train without; add a skipping rope for warm-ups and a glove deodoriser once you own leather gloves. A groin guard and head guard come later when you start sparring. Everything on that list costs well under the price of a pair of gloves.
Do you engrave boxing trophies and medals?
Yes. We supply trophies and medals for competitions and participation and can engrave them with your club name, event and date. Call the shop on 01708 320320 with quantities and wording, and allow time for engraving before your show date when you place the order.
