Boxing Equipment
Boxing equipment is what Boxfit UK has sold since 2006, and this is the whole of it in one place: over 1,000 products for fitness boxers, amateurs, professionals and clubs, from Rival, Adidas, Pro Box, Phenom, Fly, Opro, Empire, Tuf Wear and our own Boxfit range. Gloves, punch bags, hook and jab pads, head guards, gum shields, hand wraps, skipping ropes and full boxing rings, with prices from £1.99 and advice from a shop with more than 100,000 customers.
The boxing equipment every boxer needs
Whatever your level, the first three purchases are the same: hand wraps, a pair of boxing gloves suited to what you will do in them, and a gum shield. Once you start sparring, add a groin guard and a head guard from the boxing protective gear range, and buy boxing boots when you want to move properly on the canvas. Competition adds approved gloves and head guards under England Boxing rules, and satin ring wear if you want to look the part. Everything comes in junior, women's and adult ranges, so a family or a club can buy in one order.
Training at home
A home set-up needs a bag, somewhere to hang it and gloves to hit it with. Our punch bags run from 3ft club bags to 6ft heavy bags, water bags, maize balls and uppercut bags, with wall brackets, ceiling fixings and freestanding frames for a garage, spare room or garden gym. Add a skipping rope, a floor-to-ceiling ball for timing and hand weights for shadow boxing and you have a complete session at home.
Coaching and club equipment
Coaches and clubs are a large part of who we supply. Hook and jab pads from Rival, Pro Box, Phenom, Carbon Claw and Cleto Reyes take the daily punishment of pad rounds, coach body protectors and strike shields cover body-shot work, and Empire and Boxfit tape, wraps and consumables keep the kit bag stocked. For the room itself we supply training and competition boxing rings, bag rigs, matting and storage, and can quote for a full fit-out. Club orders are priced to work across a squad, and many clubs run a club shop with us.
Why buy boxing equipment from Boxfit UK
We are boxing specialists, not a general sports retailer. Pro Box is our largest equipment brand, with hard-wearing gloves, pads and protection at club prices; Rival brings professional-grade kit from Canada, Adidas and Sting supply approved amateur competition equipment, Cleto Reyes makes the leather gloves professionals use, and Opro and SafeJawz cover gum shields from self-fit to custom. The staff who answer the phone six days a week box and coach, our Harold Wood store has been open since 2006, and online orders ship with express UK delivery. Discontinued lines are reduced in the boxing equipment clearance.
Frequently asked questions
What boxing equipment do I need as a beginner?
Hand wraps, a pair of 12oz to 16oz training gloves and a gum shield will get you through your first months of classes. Buy a groin guard and head guard when you start sparring, and boots when you commit to the sport.
How much does a full set of boxing equipment cost?
A beginner set of wraps, training gloves and a gum shield can be put together from the entry-level ranges here for less than a single pair of professional leather gloves. Prices climb with leather quality and brand, so tell us your budget and we will point you to the right level.
Does Boxfit supply boxing equipment to clubs and gyms?
Yes. We supply amateur clubs and commercial gyms with gloves, pads, protection, bags, rigs and rings, and can quote for a complete fit-out. Many clubs also run a club shop with us. Call 01708 320320 to talk to the sales team.
